Leona Lewis, the British popstar who recently won two the MOBO awards, best album for Spirit and best video for her song Bleeding Love, might be next in line to adopt a child from Africa. Leona Lewis says that she wants to adopt a baby from Africa.
Apparently, Leona she feels sorry for them and she cannot bear to see those children, without parents or a home. Leona have recently been in Africa and discovered all the suffering children, that where placed in the orphanages. However, she also says that she doesn’t plan to adopt a child just yet.
First, the time most come for her to start a family and then she will seriously consider the option to adopt. “I definitely plan to adopt. My mum was a social worker and my dad was a youth offender officer, so I know that there are a lot of kids out there that need to be fostered and adopted. When I was in Africa I wanted to take home all the kids. They were so cute!” Leona says.
Leona also plans to release her second album, next year and a grand world tour the year after. Leona will also perform at the American Music Awards, so I guess the building a family part of her life, will not happen in an early future.
