Often USB flash drives come in the standard black color, which makes they appear bland and far from eye-catching. In short, these useful little gadgets often look very boring and nothing that you would flash around the office.
That’s why I think it’s refreshing to see that the Japanese company I-O Data decided to spice things up a bit with their new line of USB flash drives named ToteBag OC. These new devices come in several trendy and eye-catching colors, such as flower pink, pine yellow, aquamarine blue, spring green, warm white, and of course cool black.
The size of the ToteBag OC drives is 12.3 x 34.7 x 5.6 mm and weight five grams. These trendy looking drives will hit the market in August and be available in the following sizes, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB, with a price tag between $23 and $60, depending on capacity.
The only drawback that I can see is that these drives aren’t compatible with USB 3.0, only USB 2.0/1.1. Also, I think that the price tag is a bit high, but I guess that’s the price you have to pay, to come off as a bit hip.
